Adobe Target Insider
We have another Adobe Summit under our belt in the US—this year with over 17,000 attendees. It was fantastic to meet so many of our customers while in Las Vegas, and so energizing. I can't wait to do the same in London at Adobe Summit EMEA in less than a month!

In this edition of the newsletter, we're sharing our top posts from the last two years, best practices for developing an optimization program from Steve Rude of Thomson Reuters, the promise of data-driven experience design, a glimpse into how we create the experience optimization payoff infographic, results from a decades-long mobile survey, and best practices for using Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics together.

Enjoy!

Sincerely,
Drew Burns

Customer Spotlight
"I don't think there's a perfect process for an optimization program that you can simply take and apply to another program without some modification. Start by looking at what others are doing, and then refining that through your own experiences or understanding of your business and its customers."
- Steve Rude, Head of Personalization, SAP

Product Manager

David joined the Adobe Target team late last year, quickly assuming responsibility for managing the solution's server-side APIs, Visual Experience Composer (VEC) for Single Page Applications (SPAs), and client-side library, AT.js. His day-to-day efforts involve gathering customer feedback, identifying customer challenges, and working with engineering teams to develop and launch solutions in Target that help them overcome those challenges.

"For years, marketers were the primary Target users, but due to the ever-evolving web technologies and consumer expectations for speedy, user-friendly websites and apps, the developer persona has become more and more important for Target to serve. That's why we've been focusing on improving the user experience for developers with features like our server-side APIs and the next generation At.js."
